LX's Industry Defining Product Wins a Total of 6 Awards
2023 Awards
Another year has come and gone, meaning more award ceremonies have taken place. LX is immensely proud of the work our teams have successfully completed this year and we have received a number of prestigious awards for these projects. We are excited to be able to share these success stories and commend our team's efforts at the same time.
Cellular Keg Tracker
Who doesn’t love an ice cold beverage after a long day? Well, LX helped the Konvoy Group make that happen! Ensuring the quality of beverages in kegs is maintained, the Katch C1 Keg Tracking Beacon is a globally optimised IoT asset tracking device designed for keg owners who manage keg fleets. This helps eliminate keg losses and increase keg utilisation by keeping track of locations and temperatures within supply chains; a prerequisite for beverage producers to maintain product quality and traceability.
Commissioned by the Convoy Group, and designed by LX alongside other reputable product designers including Marc Eggin & James Yong, Luís Rosado, Nuno Lopes, and Cristina Raposo, the keg tracker received the Good Design Award in the Australian 2023 Good Design Awards.
Andromeda
The Andromeda has received yet another round of awards this year, bringing its total to an outstanding 6 awards from various events and categories since its creation.
Improving year-on-year, the Andromeda provides tracking insights like never before with reporting on start and stop times, time in motion and location in areas with or without LTE-M coverage.
This year the Andromeda won two Silver awards at the 2023 Better Futures Awards. This was in the Wild Design Awards and Australian Design Awards categories.
VBreathe
During a time where health and safety is of the utmost importance, EnviroGuard Pty Ltd approached LX to commission a product that could create unparalleled air quality and environmental safety.
With the increase and understanding of airborne and surface-laden infectious vectors, highlighted through the Covid pandemic, there was a clear gap in the market to address the reduction of both these concerns in a single device.
So, in conjunction with VBreathe Pty Ltd, LX engineered a device with smart sensors that monitors and manages indoor air quality, and has a unique four-layer air filter that releases PuroxDuoTM gel through controlled evaporation; mimicking a compound generated by UV sunlight. The outcome of this is significantly improved indoor air quality.
The concept and impeccable engineering of this device saw it awarded a Good Design Award at the Australian 2023 Good Design Awards.
LX is incredibly proud of these achievements and are excited for what’s to come in the new year as we remain focused on delivering exceptional solutions and setting new standards in the industry.
