eShepherd™ is a solar powered GPS enabled collar and mobile application that allows beef and dairy farmers to fence, move and monitor livestock.
The system helps farmers increase productivity and lower costs, lower the environmental impact of the livestock, and improve health and welfare of the animals. The system is based on the LX IoT Cores, and is technology rich incorporating high accuracy GPS, WiFi, private LoRa network and IMU.
LX developed the custom electronics, embedded firmware and Cloud integration for the eShepherd(TM) system, which is now on display in the Stockman’s Hall of Fame, Longreach QLD.
