Vodafone IoT Modem
Design of two IoT modems (CAT1 and M1/NBIoT).
The modems are for operation in the utilities industry in smart meters and other devices to facilitate the transition from 2G and 3G to 4G. LX developed the electronics hardware, embedded firmware, OTA update engine, cloud backend, and cloud management software.
The CAT1 modem is in high volume production.
