Oreo™ Cookie Printer

LX custom developed the Oreo printer to ensure cookie creme printing precision, as part of a new campaign via Traffik Group.

A Dobot Magician is controlled via bespoke software that uses a camera on the robot arm to scan and print Oreo cookie creme – allowing a smooth and seamless journey from digital creation to production. The creme is dispensed from a syringe, moved by the Dobot arm, onto the giant Oreo cookie through 12 pneumatic air controlled syringes.

Customers are be able to select from a range of features to Oreo-fy themselves including; hair style and eye colour and style and accessories, to get playful and personalise their cookie.

Pepper Hacker

The Pepper Hacker is a tool to bring families together at dinner time by turning the WiFi off.

LX designed the electronics hardware and embedded firmware, and took the product through verification and validation, into mass production. Over 10,000 families have had their dinner times restored.

IoT Teddy

While Mum is away travelling for work, Evie’s IoT enabled teddy bear is able to respond to Mum’s wearable.

The teddy beats with Mum’s heart beat and Evie can send her love to Mum. The system is powered by the LX IoT Cores. LX undertook the electronics hardware design, embedded firmware development and cloud back end for this project.

Beam Energy

Beam Energy’s technology helps understand a household’s energy usage to inform the suitability of solar power installations.

The smart meter monitors and sends power usage for the household. Analysis of this data is used to determine the optimum solar and battery configuration, including analysis of payback period.

LX designed the device for Beam Energy, including all hardware, firmware and data transfer to the cloud.

Que

The internet-enabled QUE Touch Master Controller allows control of the entire system, from individual zones through to the dashboard diagnostics.

Que features modern design, the latest technology including A9 dual core processor with 1GB RAM, logging of historical energy usage, scheduling interface, master timer and zoning. Que Connect facilitates remote control and monitoring of the system via an internet connected mobile device. LX undertook the complete design of all aspects of electroncis hardware, firmware, software and cloud backend for this product. Recipient of the Australian Good Design Award.
