Oreo™ Cookie Printer

LX custom developed the Oreo printer to ensure cookie creme printing precision, as part of a new campaign via Traffik Group.

A Dobot Magician is controlled via bespoke software that uses a camera on the robot arm to scan and print Oreo cookie creme – allowing a smooth and seamless journey from digital creation to production. The creme is dispensed from a syringe, moved by the Dobot arm, onto the giant Oreo cookie through 12 pneumatic air controlled syringes.

Customers are be able to select from a range of features to Oreo-fy themselves including; hair style and eye colour and style and accessories, to get playful and personalise their cookie.

Pyrotechnics System

Quickfire has developed a 20 channel & 32 channel wireless receiver unit and a master controller for use in large pyrotechnics displays.

The system uses ZigBee wireless mesh networking to communicate between the units. LX undertook the complete hardware, firmware and software design for the product, from concept through the design phase and verification, validation and certification testing.

SmartSensor

Smartsensor(R) is an ultrasonic bin level sensing device, detecting how full bins are. Data is sent via a cloud back-end with hybrid radio options for data backhaul.

A smart waste network lowers operational costs, improves user experience and reduces environmental impact of overflowing bins.

Smartsensor(R) is powered by the LX IoT Cores. LX developed the electronics hardware, embedded firmware, cloud back end for the system. Supported radio options are LoRaWAN, 3G and SigFox.

Caroma

Smart Command is an intelligent bathroom ecosystem providing monitoring and control.

It interfaces with smart bathroom fixtures to monitor data, including the fixture usage, number of flushes and water usage. It integrates with mobile apps, building management systems and cloud platforms.

Smart Command allows the monitoring and control of water usage to save water, as well as facilitating informed decisions to be made relating to cleaning, maintenance resourcing, and other building management functions.

LX developed the connected gateway devices, cloud back-end and dashboard for the system.
